Stay at Home, Beach
The Stay at Home, Beach is a gin cocktail creation inspired by the need to be outside, in the sand, with the ocean lulling you to sleep with the soft sound of waves. Only we are stuck inside. So bring beach to your home! Don’t worry about ingredients, you can have it all delivered. Oh, what a time to be alive…
This easy drinking gin cocktail pairs tropical fruit juices with gin, and a delicious apricot brandy float. Which you can add a little, or a lot of. This drink is rather reminiscent of the Ladykiller, but with a bit less alcohol and stronger fruit flavors.

Some notes on the Stay at Home, Beach.
You don’t have to say the name of this drink in a snarky manner. Although it helps. It’s important to know that I also give full credit to the former-bartender husband for creating this with me, and my friend Andrea for naming it. And she does make it snarky.
Ok – some important notes on this drink. For real this time. It’s fine to use juice from a box or can for this drink. It’s much easier to make, there’s less to clean up, and things taste good. However – use fresh squeezed lime juice, that makes a huge difference.
On the apricot brandy floater, use as much as you like. It’s such an affordable bottle of booze, that you can not feel bad about adding more.
I also dare you to put an umbrella in this drink, sit outside, and dream of the actual beach. You can also make it into mocktail, but using Seedlips instead of gin and skipping the brandy. And then you can dream of what it would taste like with actual gin.
