The Chocolate Century Gin Drink
I was inspired to make the Chocolate Century gin cocktail as I was stumbling around the internet looking for gin and Cocchi Americano recipes. I found this one for the 21st Century, but was missing some key ingredients. So I found some other things that worked quite well!
This drink is absolutely delicious and layered and has CHOCOLATE so automatically it’s awesome. London Dry gins are great here, plus Cocchi Americano, which is just so amazing with all of it’s wine and herbs and bitterness. PLUS – there’s walnut liquor in this drink, which pairs oh-so-nicely with the chocolate bitters. Did I mention chocolate?

Notes on the Chocolate Century
You can certainly try things as is, or you could vary them up a bit, to reflect the original recipe. Creme de cacao would take the place of the walnut liquor, and a coffee bean takes the place of the dark chocolate.
I almost tried this drink warm, but I’m not sure how lemon juice would do warmed up. Perhaps coffee instead of lemon juice?
You don’t need a microplane to make fancy chocolate or coffee chips, you can use a veggie peeler or a grater if you like.
Cheers to good decisions!
