The Ladykiller Cocktail

If tropical fruit juice makes you happy, and gin makes you happy, this Ladykiller cocktail will definitely make you happy. It’s tropical, but not to the point of being tiki.

You can make this with fresh squeezed pineapple and passion fruit juices, or use pre-made juices. This will totally change the sweetness of your drink, so add more gin or perhaps some simple syrup if you need to change it up. The other fruity flavors to this awesome drink come from the Cointreau and the apricot brandy. If you can’t seem to find an apricot brandy around, play with a peach brandy instead.

How to mix up the Ladykiller Cocktail.

Add tartness with a bit more Cointreau or triple-sec. Or just less of the fruit juices. Or more GIN! Apricot brandy can also be pretty sweet, so use a bit less of that.

Some recipes call for adding mint as a garnish, or a maraschino cherry as a garnish. Using Luxardo cherries instead of the sugary (and neon) maraschino adds more depth, color, and less sugar to your finished drink.

For another pineapple drink, try making the Pineapple Mint cocktail. It’s easy, and you get to smash things up.
