Coconut Gin Breeze
The Coconut Gin Breeze is about the easiest to make and the lightest to drink. Truly a breeze? You also have the option of making this drink a bit chewable – more on that later. My general philosophy on this drink is you should exercise, and then have your coconut water. With gin. It’s the best way.
Really simple ingredients here for this drink. Pick your favorite gin, I chose a London Dry, for this one. Really bold gins may overpower the other soft flavors, so pick accordingly. The recipe also calls for a bit of honey, and if you have a honey-based gin, like Barr Hill , it will work really well here!
Coconut Gin Breeze
Ingredients
- 2 Oz. Coconut water
- 1 Oz. Gin
- 1 Tbsp. Lime Juice
- 1 Tsp. Honey
Instructions
- Mix all of your ingredients in a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice, and shake vigorously. The honey needs a bit of time to really blend in.
- Strain into your coupe glass. Use a fine strainer if your coconut water has chunks and don't want to chew your cocktail.

A bit about the Coconut Gin Breeze.
The honey flavor really comes through there, even though the recipe calls for just a tiny amount. A teaspoon, really. Adjust accordingly. You may also find that this drink is just plain delightful without the honey.
If you use a honey based gin, this may negate the need for honey at all. I suppose part of the fun is trial and error cocktail making!
Double strain your finished drink if you want any and all coconut chunks to be gone. I personally can’t get past the thought of bits of coconut hanging around in my glass, but whatever!
Cheers!
