The Gin and Ginger Cocktail
Simple. Gin and ginger, perhaps with some lime, perhaps not. Maybe not as bright as the traditional Gin and Tonic, but lovely nonetheless.
Ingredients
- 1 Part Gin Pick your fave
- 2 Parts Ginger Ale Also pick your fave
- 1 Wedge Lime This is optional.
Instructions
- As always, chill your dang glass! The Gin and Ginger goes nicely in a rocks glass. Or use a Collins glass. Or a beer stein if you are going bulk.
- This is a drink to make in your glass, so dump any "old" ice that you used to chill your glass and add fresh ice.
- Let the gin pour. Measure it, or gin-stimate it.
- Top with ginger ale.
- Garnish with a wedge of lime on the edge of the glass. You have the option of squeezing the lime for the juice, or twisting the rind for the lime oil over your drink.
- Try not to do any work or chores as you enjoy your Gin and Ginger.
