Grenadine Syrup from Pomegranate Juice

Make your own grenadine cocktail syrup from pomegranate juice. No high-fructose corn syrup in this recipe. And it's so pretty.

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan.
  • Something to stir with and something to hold your finished concoction.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Pomegranate juice

Instructions

  • Combine your sugar and pomegranate juice on the stovetop.
  • Bring things up to a boil, stirring to encourage the sugar to dissolve.
  • Let things simmer a bit to thicken up.
  • Cool and store in a jar! Keep your fresh grenadine in the fridge for safekeeping for a few weeks.
