The Gin-Vision Bell Gin Cocktail
This Gin-Vision Bell gin cocktail tells you two things – I’m fairly horrible at naming drinks, and I do like Aperol. I stumbled upon a mezcal recipe with Aperol, the Division Bell. I tried it with gin – and it’s fantastic! It’s also good with mezcal, but this is a gin blog…so…

This is a very cherry drink! You might think the Aperol would take over. Turns out, it’s the Luxardo that takes center stage. You do get the hints of Aperol bitterness as a lovely aftertaste. And, as usual with most mixed drinks, I stuck to a London dry gin to make it. There’s no use competing with Aperol AND Luxardo.

What’s there to add about the Gin-Vision Bell Gin Cocktail?
You should absolutely tone the Luxardo UP or DOWN depending on your tastes. You may think the Aperol will lead the way here, you’d be wrong! It’s all Luxardo cherry flavors in the front.
It’s up to you to add a garnish, like a lime twist or a Luxardo cherry to finish things off. Sometimes I care not about the garnish, it’s just one more thing to do and all I want to do is swig away.
Don’t use your fancy and expensive and rare flavored gins on this! Those special flavors will be lost.
Cheers!
